Beginner's Guide to Tabletop Role-Playing Games
If you’ve ever considered playing a tabletop role-playing game (TRPG or Pen-and-Paper RPG) but have never had time to research or don’t know what to play, here’s a simple primer for you!
There are many many games to choose from; I’m going to focus on two of the most popular game “systems” here.
The first, and arguably most popular TRPG is of course Dungeons and Dragons, using the d20 rules system (a twenty-sided die is used to resolve most conflicts). Hello, followers! (those few of you who remain and eagerly await any updates from me lol)
While I have been silent for quite a few months in regards to submitting new works, I have been writing-ish.
I'm in the process of running a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition game of my own design! Exciting, right?
In the following days, weeks, and months, I will be posting information from that world and campaign as they're completed and run by my gaming group.
I will start either this afternoon or tomorrow with information I've compiled about the world so far and the personalized introductions I did for each of my players (alllllllll 6 of them lol)
Who wants to help this old man out?
I'm asking for help populating a world I've made for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition with settlements, cities, temples, and dungeons.

NaNo 2015...the END?!
Guys and Gals and Non-binaries, I'm ready to throw in the towel already. I'm at *looks* 18,349 words, which puts me 3,300 words behind if I can't manage to write today. Fridays and weekends that I work make it nearly impossible to find time to write. Plus Fallout 4's release has me equally occupied.
At this point, I don't even really care about hitting the 50k mark; what I've got is a good spingboard for future work. So, that's a thing.
Anyway...I've got to get to work.
Then D&D tonight afterward...
Then work all weekend...
*groan*
